What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, a prominent, naturally-occurring cannabinoid component found in hemp plants; specifically Cannabis Sativa. CBD sold across the US without THCΔ9 (“THC”) is typically made from industrial hemp, which is low in THC and high in CBD. THC is the cannabinoid that provides the high in marijuana and is a restricted drug in the US. CBD and THC are the most studied cannabinoids, but others are beginning to gain recognition for their respective contributions.

Why do people use CBD?

Cannabinoids including CBD help regulate the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) via two types of cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body – CB1 and CB2. These receptors are found most abundantly in the brain and immune system respectively. While clinical studies are pending, the ECS is being tested and evaluated for its role in pain management, sleep and relaxation, inflammatory responses, cognitive function, anti-anxiety, memory, appetite suppression, movement disorders including seizures, and ADHD to name a few.

How do 7 & Med 7 products compare to other CBD oil products?

Hempzorb81™ , the full spectrum hemp CBD oil used in our products, is extracted with supercritical CO2 extraction and column chromatography, making it the purest full spectrum hemp CBD oil available on the market. Made with Purzorb® technology, it is also 85% bio-available to the body with an onset of action of 15 minutes. I have tried CBD before and it didn’t work. Why should your products work for me now?

There are generally 3 reasons why CBD doesn’t work:

The most common is a ‘CBD’ product does not have much, if any, CBD in it, or, the CBD in the product is very poor quality. The bioavailability of CBD oil is 6%, which means 94% of what is normally taken leaves the body before being absorbed. Hempzorb81™ is 85% bioavailable and of impeccable quality, so you are able to absorb significantly more than regular CBD with much better results. 

Another reason is that CBD alone has limited effects. Other phytochemicals and plant nutrients are necessary to unlock the full potential benefits in what has been termed an entourage effect. Many CBD products are made with a CBD isolate that’s either synthetic, or organically grown but stripped from the other plant materials and labeled ‘pure CBD’. Made with Purzorb Technology, our products are made with a full spectrum hemp CBD oil that includes multiple cannabinoids like CBD, CBDV and THCV, along with naturally occurring nutrients, terpenes and flavonoids found in the plant which provide the desired entourage effect. CBD products, including ours, do not always work. While CBD has shown to have many benefits including support of better sleep and relaxation, relief from stress and aches or soreness, some physical and/or mental-related issues require something beyond the natural benefits found in hemp oil.

Do your products work for pain?

Customers using our topicals and ingested products for sore joints and muscles, or to help with sleep, have found comfort and/or relief. We recommend using both topical and ingestible products for the greatest benefit with aches and soreness. Our Sports and Recover Cream, Med 7 Healing Gel and Roll-ons are designed to be applied directly to the skin or any sore joint and can be used as often as needed. With consistent, daily use, our tinctures have shown to be very effective for chronic soreness, aches and mobility.

Do your products work for migraine headaches?

While our products have not been studied for migraines, Hempzorb81™ has been studied in many inflammatory conditions with significant results vs. placebo (See www.hempzorb81.org). In 2023 Hempzorb81™ received a patent on the clinical use in some of these conditions. We encourage you to talk to your health care provider about using our products to support your health and well-being.

How do I dose your products?

Our 7 & Med 7 products come in a variety of oral and topical applications. When taken orally, place the suggested does in the mouth or under the tongue for 15-20 seconds before swallowing. The suggested oral dose for Med 7 is between 1-3 ml p/day and 7 1-2 ml p/day depending on the product, but dosage can be adjusted based on personal results.

For topical uses, apply Med 7 Healing Gel generously to the affected area once a day. Healing Gel applies easily and absorbs quickly. Bandages or dressing can be applied before completely dry.

Med 7 Relief & 7 Flex Roll-ons should be rolled onto a target hot spot. Let air dry on skin. Do not rub in after application. These can be used many times a day as needed.

Med 7 Recover Cream & 7 Sports Cream: Apply liberally to the affected area. Massage into skin after application. Re-apply as needed. Can be used many times a day if needed. 

How often should I take it?

When or how often you take 7 or Med 7 depends on what you are taking it for. For acute conditions you should take it as needed. For help with sleep, take 5-15 minutes before bedtime. For help with chronic or metabolic support, take daily in single or divided doses (some in the AM and some in the PM).

Consistency is key for best results. Topicals should be used as long as reasons for use persists and/or manifests itself. Tinctures should be taken daily as long as directed or needed.

What else is in your products?

Med 7 and 7 are made with Hempzorb81™, a premium, full spectrum hemp CBD oil. In addition to CBD, our products contain other naturally occurring Phytocannabinoids like CBDV, CBC, CBG and THCV (non-psychoactive), nutrients, terpenes and flavonoids which are critical to activating the effects of CBD in your body. Our ‘CBD oil’ is not a distillate, isolate or chemical version of CBD. Hempzorb81™ uses a naturally occurring balance of cannabinoids and all the other whole plant extracts without the use of chemical stripping, or boosting with isolates or distillate CBD.

Are there any side effects, drug interactions or incompatibility with other medications?

 – Oral Use: We have no reported interactions with any medications or products while taking Med 7 or 7. We have also not had any reported side effects or drug-drug interaction in our clinical studies. Always check with your physician if you are taking prescriptions medications. 

– Topical Use: We have no reported interactions or side effects with our topical products. Our Sports and Recover creams contains menthol, camphor and wintergreen so someone with skin sensitivity to those ingredients may want to be cautious when applying.

Are your products safe for pets?

Yes. Pets can get the same benefits from our full spectrum hemp CBD oil as humans. Some of our oral products contain xylitol as a natural sweetener and are clearly labeled in the Supplement Facts panel. While the amount of xylitol is small (less than 7.5 mg per 1 ml dose), dosages of xylitol greater than ~34–45 mg/lb. have been associated with hypoglycemia in dogs. Some dogs ingesting xylitol at dosages 227 mg/lb. may develop severe hepatic insufficiency or failure, (Source: Merck Manual). This would equate to a 4 lb. dog consuming 2 full bottles of Med 7 or a 20 lb. dog consuming 10 full bottles of Med 7.

Are your products tested for quality and ingredients?

All our Hempzorb81™ products conform to the highest industry standards for testing and purity and is manufactured at a registered FDA facility under cGMP standards. Our products are tested 3 times during production. We test for the cannabinoid profile and potency; heavy metals, microbiological and pathogenic bacterial contaminates, pesticides and volatile organic compounds in every batch we use. Test results on every batch are available at the store on request. 

Will THC show up in a blood test?

Hempzorb81™ full spectrum hemp CBD oil meets or exceeds all Federal regulations for industrial hemp including THC content. While Hempzorb81™ is verified testing at less than 0.00% THC content, it has not been systematically studied for effects on drug testing. Please consult your physician before using products containing CBD hemp oil.

Is CBD the same thing as pot (marijuana)?

No, but they are related. Both CBD and marijuana come from the Cannabis sativa plant, but the CBD used in our products is produced from certified industrial hemp low in THC and high in CBD. There are no psychoactive effects with Hempzorb81™. Because our products comply with Federal Guidelines, it can be bought, sold and shipped throughout the United States including Hawaii and Alaska.

Is CBD legal?

Do your products contain THC?

Full spectrum industrial hemp CBD oil often contains trace amounts of THCΔ9 including our CBD-related products. As THC is not detected in any of our 3rd party lab tests, it is labeled “THC Free” or “THC content of less than 0.0001%.”

Will I get high using your products?

No. Hempzorb81™ is devoid of psychoactive effects, and is non-addictive.
